Description:
Bia (pronounced "Bee-ah", a Greek name for spirit of force/power) is a young kitty looking for a home that is relatively quiet. Bia was found in pretty rough shape this summer, wandering the streets of Williamsburg with a pretty nasty wound on her neck and ear. Lucky for her the family that originally found her, couldn't turn their back and ignore this small kitten in need - so they scooped her up and took her to their vet to get her on the road to recovery. While this home loves Bia very much, unfortunately the other cats, dogs, and kiddos in the home seem to cause Bia a little too much stress - and eventually a couple health concerns. After a couple trips to their vet because she had began urinating outside of the litter box, she was treated for two separate urinary tract infections and an ear infection over the summer and fall, so they eventually decided she needed to find a little quieter home and asked Safe Haven to help. In a calm atmosphere Bia can be a very sociable kitty who likes to be held, and we really feel she deserves a nice quiet home to settle into. Her coloring is a bit unusual --neither quite white nor quite yellow, appears to have a little mix of flame point coloring found in Siamese cats, that goes along well with her beautiful blue eyes. As with all of our adoptable kitties, she has been spayed, microchipped, wormed and is up to date on vaccines and flea control. Interested in adopting Bia?
