Safe Haven of Iowa County

Izzy came to Safe Haven when her owner that has stage 4 cancer could no longer care for her, and he lovingly asked us to please help him find her a new forever home.  He knew Izzy is a Boxer mix - and thought perhaps mixed with an American Bulldog .....but our volunteers have also wondered if all her spots may be from a Dalmation, or her previous vet had wondered if her markings come from a more rare breed called Dogo Argentino - we obvioulsy aren't for sure, but we do know what a great dog Izzy will be for some lucky family!

Izzy received great care and love in the first 3 years of her life, and you can sure tell!  She loves to cuddle, and will even try to fit right up into your lap :)  She loves everyone she meets - including kids and other dogs and cats. 

Her owner says she is very loving and also enjoys playing - she is especially good at catch. Izzy would love a safe fenced in yard to romp around and play in.
