Safe Haven of Iowa County

This lovely calico and her sisters came to Safe Haven when their owner could no longer care for them. Before coming to Safe Haven, April lived with several other cats (besides her sisters) and a dog. April is not really reserved or shy, she just tends to sit quietly and wait for someone to come pet her. While being pet, she purrs and kneads happily.

Update: April was adopted several months ago and recently returned. The dog in the household was territorial and would not allow April to venture anywhere in the house without being attacked. The adopters said that none of it was April's instigation and that she had been a great cat. So, let's work on finding a new home for this pretty, friendly girl.
