This young lady is such a beauty and her family was so sad to have to surrender her to Safe Haven. Bambi had lived with them for over 6 months, but unfortunately Bambi decided she was done living with cats - so in order to protect their older cat, they did decide Bambi needs to find a new home without kitties.
Bambi loves every person she meets, and lived with older kids in her home. Her previous owner does think she may be a bit too rambunctious to be around small kiddos, accidentally knocking them over, etc. Bambi had not been socialized around other dogs before coming to Safe Haven, and we have been working on proper introductions - however we just have not had any luck finding Bambi a canine friend yet. She continues to be fairly reactive to other dogs, and inappropriately snaps at the face of other dogs, which naturally isn't well received by other dogs. So at this point we are trying to find her a home where she can be an only pet and enjoy all the attention for herself!
Bambi loves to go on walks and is quite playful - we just love her clown personality! Her previous owner reports that she is housebroken. If you are looking for a dog to make you smile and laugh every single day, Bambi may be just the dog to fit your family!!
