Labrador Retriever / German Shorthaired Pointer : : Male
This adorable boy was born 4/4/09 to a very sweet, calm, yellow lab that came to our shelter pregnant. Based on most of the litter’s coloring, the litter is probably a mix of German Short Hair/lab. Larry was the most dominant of his littermates, but he is now in foster care and has demonstrated that he is a pup who loves to please. Like all puppies, he loves to chew but if he’s chewing on the wrong thing all you to do is say “no” and he’ll stop chewing. He is playful and energetic but not overwhelmingly so. He also enjoys being a cuddly lap puppy. Larry is learning basic manners in his foster home and is starting to grasp the concept of potty training. Of course, being just a baby, it will be a long time before he is completely potty trained. Please remember before placing an application that Larry is a young puppy so he cannot spend several hours alone at this time and cannot be expected to hold his bladder/bowels for several hours at a time. He will require a lot of patience, love, attention, and training. Click below to learn more about why to adopt your next pet from an animal shelter.
