Safe Haven of Iowa County

This classic tabby was mom to two litters of kittens who also came to Safe Haven. She was an excellent young mother but we'd really like her to find her own person. Daisy is a worrier and she needs an adopter who is understanding of her likes and dislikes. Whatever her past experiences were, they've taught her to be cautious about new situations and especially noise. Despite this, she doesn't hide for long and can usually be found in her sunny window watching birds. She is very friendly, even with strangers, as long as they are quiet and pet her gently. She absolutely does not like to be picked up and does not want to be pet by children. Daisy does well with other cats. Daisy can be very playful, especially with her pretend mice, usually when she thinks people aren't watching her.

Update: Daisy was adopted and enjoyed having a home for a while, but for whatever reason she never got along with the adopters other cat friends and had to be returned. Daisy had always been very friendly to other cats in the shelter, so we're surprised by this behavior.
