Safe Haven of Iowa County

Pepper came to us with her little sister, Butterball, as a result of divorce and moving.   She seems to be a very typical Jack Russell/Rat Terrier   --- charming, spunky, and full of life through and through.    Did I mention Spunky....oh my.    She will tell those big dogs that walk past her kennel what she thinks of them.   She is a happy little girl with a tail that swings around so far it almost touches her sides and seems like a blur to the casual viewer.    In this picture you can see her little sis peeking through the blur of her tail.

If you are looking for a quiet little dog that will just sit on the sidelines and watch the world go by, this is not the dog for you.  However, I am betting she will be great at alerting her adoptive peeps that someone is at their door.   And, a mouse would not stand a chance in your house.
