Description:
Tilly came to us to look for a new home because she was not fitting into life with her person and his other dog while on the road as a truck driver's companion. She was definitely domineering the more submissive dog and neither of the dogs were happy with the situation. She is young and purebred; but her manners did not meet standards for this life. She will need some coaching and consistent work with learning manners. If you do not have experience with a German Shepherd, but have longed for one, just be aware of the description in the breed information online quoted here: "German Shepherd Dogs love strenuous activity, preferably combined with training of some kind, for these dogs are very intelligent and crave a good challenge. They need to be taken on a daily, brisk, long walk, jog or run alongside you when you bicycle."
