Description:
Copper is the youngster of the three dogs that came to us from Ft. Smith, Arkansas, on a transport of approximately 25 dogs. She came to us from Hope Humane Society because they have about 400 adoptable dogs available and are looking for homes for wonderful dogs by reaching out to other rescues. Safe Haven along with another group from Western Iowa met the transport to welcome several very adoptable dogs to Iowa as the van advanced to the rescue group in Minnesota where twenty beautiful dogs would find homes. We are still getting to know the three dogs we committed to, Lucy, Cupcake, and Copper but are enjoying each of them. Wednesday, March 20, will be the surgery day when they are spayed and will be ready for new homes a few days later. They will be up to date on shots and microchipped, and ready for their new homes in all ways. |
