Safe Haven of Iowa County

Khia is a lab mix who arrived at Safe Haven after having been relinquished to Fur Fun Rescue, a foster based group, at a time when they did not have any fosters available to take her.   Since she was a relinquishment we know her birth date for sure which is a little unusual.    We also know that she  has lived  with  2 cats, a littermate and a second dog. 
She has a sweet, somewhat shy, personality; but she is still getting to know us which may explain the shyness.   We have seen that she is very athletic and can jump quite high.  We were told she will fetch tennis balls endlessly.
