English Mastiff / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Large
Frankie is such a big beautiful brindle girl. Her previous owner gave her up because she needs a family with some room for her to run in a yard and time to work with her on some basic training. She still thinks she is a puppy. Her previous 'mom' wrote a short note upon giving her up saying "I love Frankie with my whole heart and I want her to be with someone who feels the same but can also give her the attention she deserves."
Frankie will not actually be available until sometime after the first week in March. She is taking part in a program at the Iowa Medical Classification Center (Oakdale) and will be learning new skills where the trainers will emphasize 1. Impulse control 2.Building her focus and ability to offer attention to humans 3.Extinguish the jumping up, mouthing, and grabbing behaviors 4.Loose leash walking Interested parties will be able to meet her at our building after she completes her training.
