Description:
Opal has unusual eyes, but her visit to a veterinarian ophthalmologist gave us some answers. The condition is referred to as Endothelial Cell Dysplasia. The vet was able to confirm that Opal does indeed have a condition which is not expected to cause any problems for her now or in the future, that she is visual in both eyes, and that this is a non-painful condition. He further added that in his career as a Veterinary Ophthalmologist, he has only seen one other cat with eyes of a similar appearance. Despite her rare eye condition, Opal is a sweetheart and loves attention. She will seek out your lap if you give her the chance.
