Description:
Khloe came via I 80 on a transport from Bethany,Mo and straight into the hearts of the dog volunteers here at Safe Haven. FurFun Rescue (foster based rescue with limited capacity) was moving 5 dogs with medical issues and asked if we could take Khloe in. She had spent a few days living with 2 other dogs when she was first rescued in Missouri by a college student there. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is very athletic and light on her feet. She is affectionate and very much at home on the couch in the lobby---to the point that dog walkers usually are detoured to the couch for her to receive some one-on-one and the walker to receive some kisses.
She does not “show well” here at the building because as soon as someone approaches her kennel she starts barking and pretending to be a guard dog. On the lobby couch she is an entirely different dog who only wants someone to share the space and love with her.
Like all of our dogs she is up to date on parasite preventatives, vaccinations and is microchipped and spayed (neutered). Interested in adopting?
