Description:
Aladdin was rescued by an animal activist when she learned that he was going to be put down due to the fact he had bitten a child who repeatedly hit him on many occasions. He is amazingly loving in spite of that treatment, although he does not trust men as much as women. He is a very calm dog when left alone but can also be very active and playful and full of energy. He loves to be brushed and calms immediately with brushing. He takes food and treats very gently from your hand and rides very well in a vehicle. He does not seem to be a 'chewer' and is housebroken. He is a little short on training and needs some leash work and general training regarding jumping on people, etc. A yard with a high fence for him to run and play in would be ideal. We would probably not want him to go to a home with children because of his past experience. He will be neutered and microchipped before being adopted which could happen as early as the weekend of 12/15/18. He will also be up to date on vaccines by the time he is adopted. |
