Safe Haven of Iowa County

Daisy came to us when her former owners found that she did not want to share her home with their other dog.  We will be looking for  a home where she can be an only dog because she gets too attached to her humans to share them with another dog.   She can be defensive with other dogs.  She likes both men and women but is more protective of women.

Her  former family tells us she is fun, active and loving.   Her favorite things to do include playing fetch and chewing on rawhides.    She is relatively high energy and can appreciate a little 'hunting' trip.  She does well with free roaming the house but will kennel up.   

The only known health issue was an incidence of allergies which has since gone away.  She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.   She was recently heartworm tested (for admittance to Safe Haven) and was negative.  She is current on heartworm and flea protection and microchipped.
