Safe Haven of Iowa County

I am going to admit for total transparency that I am totally biased about my feelings about this dog.   I met her in her previous home and she was such a loving, fun, well behaved dog that one could not help but think of her as 'the perfect dog'.    

She was purchased as a puppy by a gentleman who lives in subsidized housing where the size limit on dogs is 25 pounds.   She has obviously outgrown that weight limit.  She might have escaped notice but for the fact that she is extremely friendly and wanted to greet everyone in the common areas of the complex.  

She has learned several commands without any professional help.  She knows sit, down, come, stay and learns quickly.  She knows to go to her kennel/crate when told to.  She knows a few things she would be better off to forget --like 'potato chip'. 

She still has puppy energy but is very eager to learn.   Her favorite thing to do is to play ball.   When her former owner was asked about her bad habits he could not think of any.
