Howie has stolen our hearts. His personality is totally charming and he is so, so cute. He has been here for a little longer than most pound dogs are before they are posted on our website. We thought that we knew who he belonged to when he came to the pound and that the invidual was on vacation. Consequently, we were all grumbling about 'who would go on vacation and not provide for the care of a sweet little dog like this'. Then we learned he did not belong to the person we thought he did; but, he had stolen our hearts in the meantime. So now we need to take the next couple or three days to get him ready for adoption. By Thursday, August 23, we will have him up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is already neutered. Barring any unforeseen issues when he is examined by the veterinarian we will have to tell him good-bye very soon, I am sure.
