In June of 2018 this is what we said about Georgie: " Georgie is one of the little fellows that we received from Oklahoma because of an abundance of pups needing homes there.  I say little only because he was 36 pounds at the time we received him.   However, at 5-6 months old he is growing and will obviously be much larger at maturity.    The little guy has already had his share of neglect so he needs a loving home now to make up for it.    He was found abandoned in an airport hangar with injuries to his face, legs and tail.   In spite of that he seems to trust people and want to be loved.  "

We were right that he was going to continue growing and would be a loving dog.   In fact, he grew out of the home of the lady who adopted him in June, 2018.   At 84 pounds he is just too much for a mature lady to handle with the strength and energy he has.   He has had some training which he will need continuing work on----but he is remembering some of it like 'sit' and 'treat'.

The trainer who worked with him thought he is most likely lab and boxer.    We can see that in his adult physique as well.   While he did have a 'sister' who was a small terrier with whom he was very good, his initial reaction to the many dogs and a lot of barking at the shelter was not calm.
