Mikalea is one of five puppies born to mom Olympia in late November in Texas. The whole family (except the father) was flown to Iowa by the volunteer group, Paws 'n Pilots on February 25.
We have been getting to know them as we waited for their veterinary appointment to spay or neuter them. Finally the big day arrived and they are now ready for adoption. As you would expect of puppies this age they love to play and wrestle with each other. We will miss them when they move on to their 'forever home'; but that is where they should be.
