Safe Haven of Iowa County

Now here's someone that will put an undeniable smile on your face: OLIVER!  He is 4&1/2 years old and was just relinquished to Safe Haven from his owner who had recently gotten too much on their plate - not because of anything "Ollie" did wrong.  Oliver's lolling tongue will have you smiling just from the picture - so just wait until you meet him!  This sweet Pekingese thinks humans (especially little kiddos!) are the best thing ever - he's super affectionate and his little snorts will let you know he's happy, is his wiggling body doesn't :) 

Oliver is house-trained, good on a leash, and has had no problem upon meeting cats (maybe only that they are bigger than him!)  or other dogs. This little man just wants someone to snuggle with him, and his fluffy coat makes that an easy desire to have.  An ideal owner would be someone as laid back and happy as Oliver is, only wanting to share some love that this guy will certainly give back!
