Rebel is a very typical beagle in many ways..... sniffing and letting his nose lead the way most especially.  He can be a cuddler and appreciate a gentle hug now and then.  But, he would rather it not be from a child while he is trying to eat especially.   The reason he lost his previous home is that he did object to a small child's activity around his food....so he took ahold of the offending arm, without breaking the skin, but leaving  teeth indentations.  

He would be fine at home napping while his people worked to earn a living for him -- although he does not have any obvious expenses in the near future other than the standard food and  annual physical.   He just had his teeth cleaned, is up to date on all of his shots and is ready for a home to relax in.  His blood work at the time of the dental work was all well within the norm and his medical record is available for potential families to view.  He will be happy to go for a walk with his people after work and to curl up beside them later while they relax.

He does not "pick" fights with other dogs but will bay at them to let them know that he is very much a beagle.  He seems to enjoy a car ride, even when the destination is the vet's office for   updating his vaccinations.

He is microchipped -- in fact, through a bit of an error he has two microchips.   Like all of our adoptables, he is up to date on flea prevention and worming, has been heartworm tested, and is looking very sound.
