Atticus has learned that he does not particularly like other large dogs and would probably not do well in a home with one, although his dislike could be dog specific to ones he sees here at the shelter going past his kennel.  We know that we would be especially careful in introducing him to a large male dog; but, wonder how he feels about smaller dogs and female dogs.   Dogs so often behave differently when they reach a home without the stresses of the shelter.

He has visited the cat area to see how he reacts to kitties.   He definitely likes cat food and would happily clean up their plates, but he basically ignored the cats themselves.  He has shown a definite interest in children and does not act if he has ever met one that he does not like.
