Safe Haven of Iowa County

Katie came to us 12/01/16.  Katie is available for adoption now, after having her appointment for microchipping, shots and spay surgery.  While at the vet, it was discovered that Katie did have crystal in her urine, so she does need a special prescription dog food to help her urinary tract stay healthy.  What we have learned in this short amount of time with Katie is she is a complete sweetie. She would make someone a great companion and possible lap dog.   She did just earn a total "F"  for flunking on her compatibility with kitties test, so a home with no cats will be best for Katie. 

Please keep in mind that herding dogs such as Katie are typically very active.
