Keesha first came to us through the Iowa County Pound when numerous people saw her roaming freely without seeming to have a home. She was in pretty bad shape at that time with large patches of hair missing from 'hot spots' that had to be shaved to facilitate treatment. She also had a pretty serious double ear infection that was very painful for her. We helped her get over those obstacles in life and found a home for her; but that placement did not last. As is our policy we took her back to look for a new home for her in mid-October, 2016.
She has since had a large growth removed from her right rear knee joint along with a removal of a growth on her side. She is feeling much better because she also got some very aggressive treatment for her ears at the same time. She is free of the cone that kept her from licking at the incisions and feeling very much as if 'life is good' now.
