Safe Haven of Iowa County

Meet Miss Maggie!  She is a beautiful young dog needing a new forever home.  She looks a lot like a a Lab, but her  Hound nose is sure evident when she is outside - she loves to sniff her way around!  Maggie was relinquished to Safe Haven, along with her sister Molly, because their family could no longer care for them.  They are very friendly and loving, but a little fearful of their new surroundings at Safe Haven.  Maggie's family says she is a calm, mellow dog that just goes with the flow around the house, and even knows the "kennel up" command when it is time for bed.  They have noticed that she does not like thunder.  Some of her favorite things are to chew on a rope toy or a bone, and to go outside for a good run.  

We are sure both dogs will quickly gain confidence and become great outgoing companions! The family love Maggie and Molly very much and would of course love to see them adopted together, but understand that may not be possible - Most importantly we all just want a happy ending for them both and hope that they will quickly be adopted and get to start their new lives.
