Basset Hound : : Male
Fred is four years old. He was so thin when we got him, along with Ethel (other bio on this website) that his ribs showed, his fur color wasn't true because he was malnourished. He is now part of our family, running, chasing, playing with total happiness and we enjoy fattening him up and seeing him get healthy as he should be. He gets along great with all the dogs, has a special affection for Ethel, so it'd be great if they could be together, but certainly not mandatory, as he is smart, adaptable and sharp. Immediately, I mean immediately picked up on going outside (we have a doggy door) to do his required duties. He is eager to be taught, of this we are sure, so would fit into any household. Is curious about the cats, but doesn't chase them. He's as if he is still a puppy though in his wonderment about the world, so naturally you want to give him the best of your world!!!
