Parson Russell Terrier : : Female
Matty is a very cute, sweet-natured example of a Parson Russell Terrier, which until recently was known as the Jack Russell Terrier. Parson Russell Terriers are an active, determined breed with lots of spirit. They can sometimes be aggressive toward other dogs if not extensively socialized, but fortunately Matty gets along very well with a wide variety of other dogs. She’s also very friendly and affectionate with people. Parson Russells are playful and love to be part of family activities. They need plenty of exercise and activity, and plenty of time and attention from their owners. Parson Russells are intelligent dogs and quick learners, but they do have an independent streak which can make obedience training a challenge for the inexperienced dog owner. However with patience, consistency, lots of praise, and reward-based training methods, the Parson Russell Terrier can do very well in obedience. True to her breed, Matty is energetic, alert, and enthusiastic. She craves human companionship and will make a wonderfully spirited addition to almost any family. Interested in adopting this pet?
