Say hello to Rufus!!! It's hard to imagine how he ended up homeless. He is a total sweetheart, 38 lbs of love, waiting for somebody to unload it on. He will be neutered in a few days, and then he will be ready for adoption. He seems to understand house training, but is not 100% at it yet, but improving. His foster home is on an acreage, and he is sometimes allowed to run without a fence or leash. He is very good at staying close to people. He loves to go check out smells in the various farm buildings, and to go say hi to the other dogs as well, but will happily follow someone back to his kennel.
Look at his pictures! Check out his long droopy ears, his sad eyes, his facial sorrow. That is because he is not yet in a permanent home. He would love you to come out and see him, and spend time with him. But be careful, his sad looks my just melt your heart!!!
