Moose came to us as a stray and went unclaimed--which we can't even believe. He's such a nice, handsome, and young boy! Moose is estimated to be around a year old and has plenty of puppy energy. He needs to learn how to contain his excitement at times, but he is very good about calming down to put a harness and leash on and walks super nicely with a front clip harness. He would benefit from training classes to solidify a good learning foundation.

Moose acts very friendly dogs here and would likely love a playmate. He is not respectful of cats, but a dog-savvy cat could probably teach him boundaries. In fact he was adopted for a very short time but his new family had to give up on teaching cat respect while they were going through a lot of life changes.  He loves ALL people: men, women and children--though he's big and may be a bit too rambunctious for little ones.   Once he is out of the kennel and in a car or in public he is very cognizant of appropriate behavior.   He loves to meet new people under those circumstances.

Moose needs LOTS of physical and mental stimulation to keep him busy and happy. He is not a lounge-on-the-couch-all-day type of dog. He wants to go on adventures with you!
