Oscar has returned to Safe Haven, due to no fault of his own and is ready to find his forever home.
Oscar began his journey to Safe Haven when he was dumped in a tape-shut box into someone's driveway along with Vanilla Bean and three adult cats. With a lot of care and time, Oscar has learned to trust people.
Oscar will need an adopter who is willing to be patient and understanding of some of the things that Oscar still worries about. Being chased down to be picked up scares him, perhaps because that is what happened to him before he was put into that box. So he may not be the best fit for a family with young children. But Oscar does enjoy being picked up, enough that he is sometimes pretty insistent about it. He is playful and loves to cuddle when he is ready for a nap.
What does Oscar like? Canned food, cuddles, ball tracks, and other cats. A meal of canned food will especially win Oscar's heart and purrs. He loves new places and exploring. He loves his brother, Vanilla Bean, but these two kittens do not have to be adopted together.
