Safe Haven of Iowa County

Rosco was adopted as a puppy from Safe Haven and has lived a happy life with his family - unfortunately there was a divorce and neither family member could currently keep poor Rosco.  They truly loved Rosco and really want him to find a loving family that can care for him and give him the home that he deserves.  They report that he loves men, women, and kids because he is a very social and loving dog - but does not get along with cats and while he seems to get along with some dogs, he has also had trouble getting along wtih a few dogs - so he may be happiest if he is  an only dog in his home. 

Rosco is a very active dog, and certainly acts much younger than 6, so a family that likes to stay active with Rosco would be the best fit....he especially loves to go on car rides! His family says he is housetrained, and is crate-trained so when home alone he does best if crated. Rosco's favorite toys are anything rubber that he can chew on!  If you are looking for a great dog to make years of lasting memories with Rosco may be the perfect dog for you....and his striking one blue eye makes him hard to resist!
