Safe Haven of Iowa County

MicMac is a fun little terrier that came to us from Texas in the Houston area after Hurricane Harvey when the shelter there found they would have to put some dogs down just to make room for newly found strays.  Volunteers there realized he is a good dog that would make a great pet if they could get him to an area that was open to taking adoptable dogs.  MicMac and three other dogs caught a relay ride with the all volunteer Pilots n Paws group and flew to Iowa.  
In spite of all the many changes MicMac has endured in the last few months he remains a loving and trusting little fellow full of happy terrier characteristics.
